Report from the Front

Changed hotels yesterday as planned.  Moved to a nicer place, the Delta Centre-ville. Got upstairs, plugged in the computer, and promptly found out that the hotel charges $10 a day for high speed internet in your room.  So that explains why so many people had laptops in the lobby using the free wireless.

In this day and age it would seem to me that the use of the internet in your room should be included in your room rate.  I’m just too cheap to spend an extra $30 on internet access. So now, I’m sitting at a crappy public computer station in a hotel lobby typing this.

Delta Hotels.  Get with it.  Ah.  Life on the Academic Front.
